Karen's Girl Oil Portrait sold

It is the most glorious day and I have no schoolwork! It seems like education has been the controlling theme of my life lately and although I do not regret the decision to return to school , I must admit the stress of it can be somewhat daunting. There is something about youthful exuberance that negates the stressful events of school. At least that is how it feels. Going back as the "ole Grey mare" has me fretting over every detail and driving myself into complete and utter distraction!

So in celebration of school being done and a free afternoon, I am going to the studio to do more than look longingly at the easels and breathe in the evaporating paint fumes. I am going to push some paint!!

Felix, Oil Portrait Sold

I had to tear myself away from studying. I have just finished 4 out of 5 exams and I am thankful for a mini break before the last one. This last semester has been extremely busy, so much so that I haven't even had time to think about painting much less do any. Once I get this last one under my belt I looking forward to accomplishing something creative! Stay tuned!

The above fellow is the pride and joy of his owner I was lucky enough to have a really good photo to work from. I am not always so fortunate. This time I did not have to interpret what "a reddish kinda Bay" was!
