Peregrine Falcon 5x7 oil SOLD

This weekend the Cobequid Wildlife Rehabilitation Center had its charity auction to raise funds for their center. One of the big things they are trying to gather funds for is a new flight pen where raptors and other species of birds can learn to fly and gain strength in their wings without fear of attack. A very worth while cause. You can check out their website at www.cwrc.net

I donated three paintings of which the highest bidder gets to chose their favorite. The highest bidder this year was also last years winner and she really likes the small sized paintings. I was able to talk to her last year and she said she thought the idea of making them collectible was great. They also make fine unique gifts without breaking the bank. I have to agree! The painting above is her selection from the trio. It is an actual portrait of one of the falcons that Dr. Van Donnick and her team have saved.
